Why are We Here?

We are Nons.

While we believe that we have taken significant steps towards our own recovery, we believe that we owe something to the cyber communities that helped to get us to where we are today. BPD is everywhere. There are millions of people with BPD in the United States and all over the world. There are many more millions of Nons.

Personal experience has shown that one of the best things in the life of a Non is to meet other Nons. To overcome that feeling of lonliness and isolation that BPD leaves us with. Oftentimes, the Internet is the only place that Nons can associate with other people without triggering the BP in their life. Therefore, the services provided to Nons online are vital to helping them to regain their dignity and lives.

BPD 411 is a web page associated with a mailing list and other services. We are dedicated to helping those impacted by having someone with Borderline Personality Disorder in their lives. BPD411 is NOT a resource for those who have the disorder.

We share what has helped us in our Healing Journey. Our positive intention is to pass along what was gifted to us when we first began to work out way out of the Land of Oz. As we were once helped, we do what we can to reach out and help those just beginning their own Journey of Healing, hoping that they too will find their way out of the Land of Oz (BPD-Land) and back to Kansas (the real world).

Kelly is primarily responsible for maintaining this web site, although Deedee and other list members contribute content.

Deedee and Kelly moderate the BPD411 e-mail list, but we acknowledge that Deedee is better at this part :-)
