She wails with the voice of a siren,
Beating upon my batter’d walls of sanity.
And yet I must be
Normal, Always Normal!
She bleats and lies,
Distorting truth like rocks in tortured canyon walls,
And all of this is
Normal, Always Normal!
I go to win bread,
Yet must be there at the whisper of need.
I am and am not
Normal, Always Normal!
She challenges reality
Confusing me beyond my reason
For friends I must be
Normal, Always Normal!
All is black
All is white
I am not grey, yet I am
Normal, Always Normal!
You are alone,
Even when we are together.
Why must I be
Normal, Always Normal!
I am your savior,
I am Satan.
I am
Normal, Always Normal!
Your need an endless black hole of night yearning to be filled,
I fill the hole, endlessly emptying myself.
Projecting to the world, as
Normal, Always Normal!
You maim yourself,
And I protect.
Creating the picture of
Normal, Always Normal!
